How To Get the Veterinarian Key For Vondel Zoo in Warzone DMZ
There’s a load of keys in Warzone DMZ, with some more valuable and in-demand than others. Since Vondel dropped with Season 4, the Veterinarian Key has been one of the most sought after and coveted. Here’s how to get it and where to use it.
How To Get Veterinarian Key in Warzone DMZ
InSeason 5, there’s still multiple ways to acquire the Veterinarian Key. Some are better than others, with only a few guaranteed acquisition methods known.
First up is looting. The Veterinarian Key can spawn in a crate, cache or bag inVondel. It’s not particularly common though, so it’s hard to really use this as a legitimate way to get it. You’re more likely to find another key, or none at all.
Season 5 actually increased the number of missions players can complete in order to receive the Vet Key as a reward, with one of the Shadow Company Faction missions offering it.
Firstly, players cancomplete Cross Town in the Phalanx Faction.It’s a Tier 1 mission and requires players to:
It’s that simple. Just hop in a vehicle and work your way to the Cruise Terminal (at the very south of Vondel) and the Castle (in the northwest). Given the map’s size, it won’t take you long to complete and should be easily done.
Another mission that rewards players with the Veterinarian Key isthe Anti-Air Mission, a Tier 2 Black Mous Faction mission.This requires players to:
SAM Sites are easily locatable on players’ minimaps, recognisable as small rockets. They’re usually crawling with bots, so that’s something to look out for and bear in mind. Once again though, it’s pretty easy to do and get the Veterinarian Key this way.
The third and final mission that offers the key isCutting It Close, a Tier 2 Mission for the Shadow Company.It’s slightly more complex than the couple listed above, but can still be completed in a few deployments at most:
Players basically need to complete a Hostage Rescue contract late on and then carry said hostage to the final exfil location. Your problem likely won’t be saving the hostage, it’ll be avoiding enemy players also trying to make it onto the final exfil chopper and extract successfully.
Buoyant House (Key Chain)
Like other keys, the Veterinarian Key is part of the Vondel Key Chain in which one key unlocks the next, which unlocks the next, and so on.In Season 5, the Buoyant House yields the Veterinarian Key.It’s in map grid C7 at the far southwest of the map, in the Floating District.
To get theBuoyant House Key,players should open one of theStage Bags.Players might need to work their way backwards in order to get the key they need. It’s worth checking your contraband too; the one you need might already be in there.
Inside the Buoyant House, head upstairs and find the key on a counter. There’s also a lot of cash, a three-plate vest and a Revive Pistol. After that, head for an exfil location or get onto your next objective. We recommend extracting to avoid a frustrating death and the loss of the keys you’ve just acquired.
Vondel Zoo Animal Care Room Location & Access
Unsurprisingly, the Veterinarian Key is used at the Animal Care Room, part of Vondel’s Zoo. The Zoo is fairly central and southern within Vondel, with the building you’re after for this key at the far southwest of the POI. It’s inmap grid D7and can be a Stronghold, so be warned there may be an extra layer of complexity to accessing it.
Head in through the double doors shown in the image above. The Animal Care Room is on the east of the building, behind an opaque and marked door. It’ll show as ‘Locked’ unless you have the correct key. Because we do, unlock it and head inside for the loot.
Inside, there’s some good loot, an orange crate or two and theCruise Terminal Office Key.This is within the Cruise Terminal at the south of the map (you may have visited this POI doing the Cross Town mission).
If you are completing a certain mission, do your best not to die between unlocking the office and completing your objectives. If you die you’ll need to acquire another key – like aSkeleton Key– to re-access the office.
