Warzone & MW3 Season 3 Release Date & Leaks
Season 2 Reloaded has just begun, bringing a new mission to Zombies and a bunch of fun bundle crossovers. Now, we’re looking forward to theWarzone and MW3 Season 3 release date, and we have details on the latest leaks.
Warzone & MW3 Season 3 Release Date
Following the usual schedule of Call of Duty seasons,Season 3 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 will begin on July 15, 2025.
That hasn’t been confirmed by Activision yet but, bar any delays, that’s when we expect it to begin. As always, the update will go live at 12pm ET/5pm BST on that day. As soon as the release date is nailed down officially, we’ll let you know.
Latest Leaks & New Features
The main new feature we expect to see added in Warzone Season 3 is the long-awaited return of Rebirth Island. Loading screens have been found in the code, and all the usual leakers are pretty sure it’ll arrive at the beginning of next season.

The fan-favourite map is the smaller of the Warzone rebirth maps, but was always extremely popular in the original Warzone days, when it was live alongside the likes of Verdansk and Caldera. Based on Alcatraz island from the real world, the whole map is focused on a large prison in the middle of it!
Elsewhere, we don’t have specifics on what to expect from Season 3. However, we do know the kind of content we’ll get.
There will be new cosmetic bundles, following theDuneand Godzilla X Kong additions inSeason 2 Reloaded. There will also be new multiplayer maps and playlists added to multiplayer. Zombies will likely get another mission or act, whether than be at the start of Season 3 or sometime during it.
On top of all that, we’ll likely see the meta change somewhat in both Warzone and MW3, with all buffs and nerfs being made clear once the patch notes drop.
